So the goal is to report every single day what I eat and just how things are going. I am going to set goal for myself and try and keep them! For those of you who know me, you can probably see this blogs stopping in like 2 weeks, but hey, I gotta try! I really am curious to see if it's true that if you change your diet, you can drastically improve your health. Doctors have been telling me to do this for years and I haven't ever stuck with it. If you have any suggestions, please let me know! I will be starting out with weekly goals that are very small, so lets see how this goes.
Here are the stats:
STARTING WEIGHT: 170lbs.
CONDITION: I can run one lap on the track before my lungs start exploding. Flexibility is okay thanks to some Yoga, but especially in the morning, I can't bend very well. My tummy hurts all the time, and my body aches all over. My main problem is my belly and love handles.
ULTIMATE GOALS:
- Lose 40lbs.
- Be able to run a mile, no sweat.
- Eat healthy, very little meat, lots of whole grains, lots of veggies, portion control, etc.
Week One:
Goal: Don't eat out. This may seem simple to most of you, but my husband and I have never gone a full week without eating out. This drains our money and just packs on the pounds!

YOU CAN DO EET! I have to say, that is a mighty sexy pic young lady!
ReplyDeletehaha thanks! It's me dancing to the X-box Kinect!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you want to cut out meats? Chicken breast has next to NO calories. Plus, I wanted to lose 10 lbs, so I went on Atkins for one week and lost 9 lbs. Meats can be good for ya!
ReplyDeleteoh girl you're going to do SO good, i can feel it! i need to join you in being healthier...i echo your words, "i know i'm not fat, but dangit, i'm unhealthy!"
